As many of you know Connection Church held its first meeting in March 2007. We have been meeting at the YMCA and have experienced growth and success as a church plant in the O'Fallon area.

I now have some exciting news to share with everyone about our future as a church. Starting in January, we will be meeting at the Great Escape Theatre at Hwy. 40 and Winghaven Rd. Our first meeting in the new location will be January 4th at 10:00am.

I believe that this move is a great opportunity to reach more people for the Kingdom of God and for future growth of the church.

I would like to ask you to be in prayer for this transition for the church and that doors to this community would continue to open for us to share the gospel of Christ.

I appreciate all of your support and efforts thus far and look forward to the future and all the exciting things God has planned for Connection Church.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme.  Psalms 45:1

Have you ever heard someone say, "That's the story of my life"? It's been my observation that people generally seem to make that statement right after something negative has happened to them. They've determined that the story of their life is based on the negative things that have happened to them. But the truth is the story of our lives is actually written by what is in us, not what happens to us.
 
According to the psalmist, the theme for the story of your life flows out of your heart.  In other words, what happens in your life is an overflow of what is inside your heart. If your heart overflows with a theme of negativity and defeat, then that's what will flow out of you and affect your life. In the same way, if your heart overflows with a theme of faith and victory, then that's what will flow out of you and affect your life.
 
The theme of any story is always determined by the person who is writing the story. If you don't like the way the story of your life is going, perhaps it's time to change the theme. If you change the theme of your heart you will change the story of your life.
